With over ten years experience in Nigerian Advertising and a Senior Art Director role under her belt, she's now crafting magic with her venture Thoughts Paper Scissors. FUNNY STORY: As a very young child I loved to draw so much that I would get my pencil and draw all over the white walls and white cupboards in my house !😱 I'm lucky my Nigerian parents decided to encourage my gift even though my drawings were quite terrible back then! 😆 

HOW I WROTE MY FIRST CHILDREN'S BOOK

Writing A Dreamy Christmas was purely accidental. I initially wanted to create a Christmas Activity Pack but after designing what is now the book cover, I was sucked into creating a narrative  for the characters.   I must confess that I was motivated by a constant nudging, beyond myself, to playfully forge ahead, though I had no intention whatsoever to sell the book. 

However, as the book neared completion, a silly little thought crossed my mind which I shared with some close family members. With their encouragement, I self-published the 1st edition of the book in December 2024 and sold out my first print run!

Despite the early success of the book, the bigger picture for me is that children of African descent get to see themselves in the salvation story of Jesus and have fun while doing it! This is the book I wish I had as a child.
